As the world’s second smallest continent in terms of land mass, Europe sits to the west of Asia. The continent includes a diverse geographic landscape featuring mountains in the southern regions to low plains in the north. The continent is subdivided into four regions including Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Eastern Europe & Russia, and Western Europe. Due to the divided regions and countries there are several languages spoken in Europe including Romance, Germanic, Salvic, Uralic, and several more. The entire European Union boosts the world’s largest economy and is also the largest exporter. The continent on the other side of the Atlantic is also a large tourist draw from all around the world. Visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris or hit the Swiss Alps for world class skiing, Europe has something for everyone.
