Utah

Located in the western portion of the United States, Utah borders 5 states including Nevada to the west and Colorado to the east. Most of the state’s population (88%) is condensed in Salt Lake City, which is also the state’s capital. The state is subdivided into three distinct geological regions the including the Rocky Mountains, the Colorado Plateau, and the Great Basin. Utah’s tourism has continued to grow since hosting the 2002 Winter Olympics which attracted a large audience at the event. Other large cities in the state include Provo, West Valley City, West Jordan, and Orem.
