Kansas Condo rental in Kansas is generally found in the larger cities, such as Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence and Kansas City, Kansas, Overland Park, as well as the Johnson County area near Kansas City, Missouri. Lawrence Kansas is a college community that is quickly becoming a large commuter community for Kansas City. As its population increases, so does the construction of new housing, including condominiums. A little less expensive than Overland Park, most condos are in the $800-$1,200 range for monthly rental. A few condo rentals can be found in the $500-650 range.

As with the rest of the United States, Kansas was hit by the real estate downturn in 2007-08, though not as severely as many other areas of the country. Nonetheless, the demand for rental condos has increased in the metropolitan areas.
